We publish free listings for locally owned North Carolina businesses across fourteen industries. Pick yours below to see what a listing includes and how to claim one — or skip straight to the form if you already know.
The businesses locals search for most on this site — where to eat tonight, where to drink at the weekend, and where to buy something without ordering it from a warehouse.
Restaurants, cafés, bakeries and food trucks across the state.
Add your restaurant →Breweries, taprooms, cocktail bars, wineries and bottle shops.
Add your bar →Boutiques, gift shops, bookstores and independent specialty retail.
Add your shop →Flower shops, wedding florals and design studios.
Add your shop →Licensed and credentialed practices across North Carolina. We verify licensing before publishing, because in these categories a directory that lists anyone is worth very little to the people who did the training.
Licensed LMBTs — clinical, sports, prenatal and spa work.
Add your practice →General, cosmetic, paediatric and specialist dental practices.
Add your practice →Small animal, equine, exotics and emergency veterinary practices.
Add your practice →Licensed in-home care and skilled nursing agencies.
Add your agency →Licensed chiropractic practices and integrated clinics.
Add your practice →Registered dietitians and credentialed nutrition professionals.
Add your practice →The businesses people choose by neighbourhood and then stay with for years. Medical aesthetics sit here too, and we ask about supervision before publishing — it is the one thing a client cannot check for themselves.
Licensed and insured contractors with a real North Carolina base. Every listing states the licence and the counties actually served, because those are the two things a homeowner is trying to establish before they call.
Licensed heating, cooling, duct and air quality contractors.
Add your business →Licensed residential and commercial electrical contractors.
Add your business →Licensed plumbers, including emergency and after-hours callout.
Add your business →Water, fire, mould and storm damage restoration.
Add your company →Licensed local roofers — repairs, replacement and storm work.
Add your company →Insured tree removal, trimming and storm cleanup.
Add your business →This list is where we have the most listings, not a limit on who we will feature. If you run a locally owned North Carolina business that is not covered above — a garage, a groomer, an accountant, a photographer — ask us anyway. We add categories when enough good businesses in one ask.
Your business name, address and phone, a link to your website, one featured image and an embedded map — plus the Welcome Kit of 30 social posts, 5 badges and a review link generator.
We write the page and publish it. There is no account to create and nothing for you to maintain.
Yes, all fourteen, on the same terms. There is no trial, no card and no expiry. The site is funded by the optional premium feature, which adds gallery images, a video, a link-in-bio page and a written article.
No. This is a North Carolina directory and that restriction is deliberate — a local citation is worth something precisely because it is local. If your business serves North Carolina customers from just over a state line, ask and we will look at it.
We check that a business is real, currently operating, and — where the trade requires it — licensed or insured. We prioritise locally owned businesses over chains and franchises.
We do decline listings, usually because we cannot verify the business or its licence has lapsed. That filter is most of what makes the directory useful to the people reading it.
Send your business name, a photo and where to reach you. We write the page, embed your map, add your citation and backlink, and publish it — then keep it current whenever something changes.
