In-home care · Skilled nursing · Companion care

Add your home care agency to the North Carolina directory.

The person searching for home care is usually not the person who will receive it. It is an adult child, often in another state, trying to work out who can be trusted with a parent. Your listing is frequently the first thing that reassures them.

  • Your licensing and services stated plainly
  • The counties you actually serve, listed
  • A local citation and backlink to your site

Why it works

Why home care agencies benefit from a local listing

Almost every home care enquiry starts as a worried search by a family member who does not know the industry, cannot judge credentials, and is deciding largely on whether an agency looks real and local.

Families are looking for reassurance

Appearing in a directory that verifies the businesses it publishes does something an advert cannot — it suggests someone else checked before the family had to.

Service area matters more than address

Families search by the town a parent lives in, not by where your office is. We list the counties you cover so the right enquiries reach you.

Often searched from out of state

The adult child doing the research may be in another state entirely, working purely from what they can read online. More trustworthy pages about you is a direct advantage.

Nothing for your team to maintain

Your coordinators are staffing shifts. Send the details once and we write, publish and update the page for you.

Questions

Home care directory questions, answered

How do I add my home care agency to the directory?

Fill out the short form on our claim page with your agency name, licence details, the counties you cover and a link to your site. We verify, write and publish the page for you within about two business days.

Do you list individual caregivers?

No — licensed agencies only. Families use this directory partly as a filter, and listing unlicensed individuals alongside licensed agencies would quietly remove the thing that makes it useful to them.

Is the listing really free?

Yes, and it stays free. No trial, no card, no expiry. The site is funded by the optional premium feature for agencies that want a gallery, a video and a written article.

We cover several counties but have one office. How is that listed?

We list your office address for the citation, and state your service area separately so families searching from a town you cover can tell that you serve them.

This matters more in home care than in almost any other category, because the enquiry is nearly always about where the client lives rather than where you are.

Can we mention that we accept Medicaid or VA benefits?

Yes, if it is accurate and current — payment routes are often the first question a family asks. Tell us in the form and we will state it plainly, and update it whenever your arrangements change.

Can we update the listing later?

Any time, without an account. Email or text the change — a new county, added services, a new director — and we update the page for you, free, for as long as it is live.
