Add your bar or brewery to the North Carolina directory.

North Carolina has more craft breweries than almost any state in the south, which is wonderful for drinkers and crowded for owners. A free listing here puts your taproom in front of people deciding where to go tonight.

  • A North Carolina citation and backlink to your site
  • Featured photo and an embedded map
  • Taproom hours, food trucks and events noted

Why it works

Why a directory listing matters for a taproom

Almost nobody searches for a bar by name unless they already know it. They search by neighbourhood, by beer style, or by "near me" — and the results come from whoever the search engines trust locally.

You get found by area, not by name

A listing that names your city and neighbourhood helps you turn up for the searches people actually run, which are almost never your business name.

A local link beats a national one

A followed link from a North Carolina community site carries more weight for a Winston-Salem taproom than a listing on a national app nobody here opens.

Reaches the visitor economy

Brewery tourism is real in this state. People plan trails and weekends, and they plan them from directories and lists rather than from any single brewery site.

The process

How to add your bar, step by step

One short form is all we need. We do the writing, the photo placement and the publishing.

01

Send your details

Business name, where to reach you, and a link to your site or Google listing if you have one. Under two minutes.

02

We verify and write it

We confirm you are a licensed North Carolina venue in good standing, then write your page — description, hours, map and photo.

03

You confirm

We reach out by email or text so you can fix anything before it publishes. Nothing goes live that you have not seen.

04

You go live

Your listing joins the directory, usually within about two business days, and your Welcome Kit lands in your inbox.

Questions

Bar and brewery directory questions, answered

How do I add my bar or brewery to the directory?

Fill out the short form on our claim page with your venue name, contact details, and a link to your site or Google listing. We write and publish the page for you, and you will hear from us within about two business days.

Is the listing free for licensed venues?

Yes, and it stays free. There is no trial and no card. The site is funded by the optional premium feature, which adds gallery images, a video and a written article — but nothing about the free listing expires.

Can you list our taproom hours and events?

Hours, yes — they go on the page and we update them whenever they change, including seasonal shifts. Recurring things like trivia night or a regular food truck slot can be described in your listing copy.

One-off events are better suited to your own socials, since a directory page is not the place people check for this Friday specifically.

Does a directory listing help my bar rank on Google?

It contributes. Search engines look for consistent mentions of your name, address and phone across sites they trust, and a North Carolina community listing is a genuine local citation rather than a national aggregator entry.

It is one supporting signal, not a substitute for a well-run Google Business Profile. It also sends real people your way while it does its job.

We are a brewery that also serves food. Which directory?

Either, and you are welcome in both. Pick the one that matches how customers describe you — if people say "we are going to the brewery", start here; if they say "we are going for dinner", start with the restaurant directory.

Can I update the listing later?

Any time, without an account. Text or email the change — new hours, a rebrand, a better photo of the patio — and we update the page for you. Updates stay free for as long as the listing is live.
