Add your veterinary practice to the North Carolina directory.

Choosing a vet is a relationship decision, not a transaction — people stay for a decade once they trust you. A free listing helps you turn up while they are still deciding, and helps them work out whether you treat what they own.

  • The species and services you actually treat
  • Emergency and after-hours cover noted

Why it works

Why a local listing works for a veterinary practice

Pet owners search for a vet twice: calmly, when they move to the area or get a new animal, and urgently, when something is wrong. Both searches are local, and both reward being easy to find.

New arrivals are looking for a vet

People moving into a county need a practice, and they find one by searching. Being listed locally puts you in front of a household that will be yours for years.

Species and services are searchable

A rabbit owner, a horse owner and a dog owner are running different searches. Your listing states what you actually treat, so the right ones reach you.

Emergency cover matters at 10pm

Whether you see emergencies, refer them, or close at six is the first thing a worried owner needs to know. It belongs on the page rather than behind a phone call.

Nothing for your team to maintain

Your front desk is booking appointments and calming people down. One form, and we write, publish and update the page.

Questions

Veterinary directory questions, answered

How do I add my veterinary practice to the directory?

Fill out the short form on our claim page with your practice name, contact details, the species you treat and a link to your site. We verify, write and publish the page within about two business days.

Is the listing really free?

Yes — no trial, no card, no expiry. The site is funded by the optional premium feature for practices that want a gallery, a video and a written article.

Can you show which animals we treat?

Yes, and it is one of the most useful things on a veterinary listing. "Small animal only" saves an exotics owner a phone call, and it saves your front desk one too.

If you see horses, farm animals or exotics, we say so specifically rather than leaving it to be guessed at.

We do not take emergencies. Should that be on the page?

Yes, and stating it plainly is a kindness. An owner with an emergency at 9pm needs to know immediately where to go, and a practice that looks open but is not costs them time they may not have.

We will note who you refer emergencies to, if you would like us to.

We have several vets at one location. Do they need separate listings?

No — one listing per practice location. Individual vets can be named in the page copy, which is often worth doing since owners frequently follow a particular vet between practices.

Can we update the listing later?

Any time, without an account. Email or text the change — a new associate, added services, updated hours — and we update the page for you, free, for as long as it is live.
