These guys were awesome. I appreciate their professional skills, timing, and cleanup. They are a bit pricey, but they will work with you. We had a Popular tree and pine tree removed and they clean up the branches on the reminding trees. Nice crew that worked great together.
Had Green Bear out last week to remove a dying white oak tree in the back yard next to a fence and close to utility lines, a swingset, and a shed. The crew lead estimated the tree was over 120 feet tall and over 100 years old. 6-person team - 1 climber, possibly 2 or 3 ground rope handlers, and 2 or 3 general helpers. They did a fantastic job, moved the swingset to a safe location, moved decorative planter fences out of the way, got the tree down and out without any branches falling on any fences or sheds or utility lines, and cleaned up and hauled away all the remnants and put the swingset and decorative planter fences back where they belong.. They were also kind enough to use their Bobcat to take two logs approx 12-inch diameter and 6-feet long across the street to my neighbor for them to cut up and use as firewood. Additional serendipity: They were the low bidder!
They did a great job. From getting a quote to finishing the job, they were very easy to work with. They were very quick to follow up if I had questions and always followed through with anything they said they would do. They know what they are doing and have the equipment and expertise to handle bigger jobs. I had several large trees taken down between my house and my neighbors which are about 10-15 yards apart. I would recommend them if you need any trees cut.
I had 9 large trees cut down by Green Bear Tree Service in April. They arrived promptly on time, and within a few hours had all trees cut down, limbs chipped and stumps ground. I highly recommend their service, and will use them again when i need other trees cut. Fantastic Service!
In the 18 years I’ve been using tree services, Green Bear is by far the best! Erik and his crew are fast, thorough and the clean up after the job is head and shoulders above the other companies I have used! This is the second time I’ve used Green Bear and I they will be the only tree service I will use in the future!
