Please don't second guess. Please come for the authenticity of a pie. Got 2 specialty pizzas and the service was top notch. The best quality of pizza ice seen within a 30 mile radius. Must check them out.
We absolutely love Garofola’s! We are there every Thursday night with 8 other friends to enjoy each other, the food and music trivia with Joe Larson! We love the cuisine so much we sometimes frequent there twice a week. Good place and the new owners are just so friendly and genuinely seem to care about our patronage. Love Anna the waitress and the bartender too! Hard working gals.
Garofola's was an amazing Italian restaurant once upon a time and I would love to see them bring it back again in the future. It seems like ever since they changed the ownership they haven't even come close to what they used to be. Their subs used to be the best that I had ever eaten but they must've changed their suppliers and they are putting some low quality ingredients in them. They barely toasted the bread and the rest of it tasted very bland. Their pizza tasted like cardboard and we couldn't tell the difference between them and Pizza Hut. They used to have a great menu selection and they used to have delicious food but they are a complete train wreck now! The only thing that hasn't changed is the warm and inviting atmosphere especially for the Pittsburgh Steeler fans. The employees are super friendly and they are very helpful. It's just very unfortunate that they have made so many changes to their menu and the quality of their food doesn't meet our expectations anymore. If it's not broken then don't fix it!
Delicious authentic Italian cuisine at this local neighborhood restaurant. Serving sizes are perfect and food is served fresh and hot. My lasagna with chunky marinara was absolutely delicious with some tasty 😋 garlic knots. I will definitely order again.
Food was DELICIOUS!!!!! Appetizers(bruschetta and fried mozzarella) Dinners (Calzone-full of cheeses added pepperoni, crust was excellent...crispy outside, soft inside. Perfect!!!! Chicken alfredo also perfect, smooth sauce, pasta cooked perfectly. Meatball sub with onion rings....yummy!!!!! Chicken parm with angel hair...perfect!!!! Salads also great! Fresh! ) All food we ordered was EXCELLENT! Service was superior! Drinks kept full. Super attentive during our visit. They kept table clear as we finished each dish. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We will definitely return!!!!!!
