Run of the mill pizza place? This is not that. NY style pizza advertised on every corner? This is not that. Chicago style? Nope. As a person who could eat pizza for breakfast, lunch and dinner and still have enough room for pizza for dessert, THIS IS TRUE NEAPOLITAN PIZZA AT ITS BEST. As you walk in you're greeted by friendly staff, and they take your order right then and there. Open style comfortable seating with Italian music and decor throughout. The food. Not only do they import many of their ingredients, but the 900 degree oven is also imported from Naples. You can tell from the attention to detail in preparing and presenting the beautiful, fresh caprese salad. The tomatoes, mozzarella and basil sing a pleasant melody that harmonize beautifully in your mouth. The pizza. What can I say? One of the best, most authentic Neapolitan Margherita pizzas I've ever had. From the fluffy dough and crust, to the fresh sauce and authentic cheese. It's perfect. Finish off with a true cannoli that you'd get at a corner mom and pop bakery on the streets of Naples. Thank you for transporting me to Italy during my weekday lunch. I'll be back to experience this many times over.
We were visiting friends who mandated that we eat here because they love it so much! We had a wonderful time. It's a fun atmosphere, service is great, and the food is delicious. They make their pizza very traditionally with the large pizza ovens, which also means the food comes out quickly. We ordered 3 pizzas and they all came out to our table in what felt like 5-7 minutes. The ingredients and flavors feel pure...that's the best word I can think to use. They have a dipping "sauce" that's basically straight tomatoes pureed. Their toppings bar has all the standards: oregano, Parmesan cheese, red chili flakes...you can add what you want to your pizza. Pizzas are 16" so a decent size but not huge. The crust is thin - a little bit of flop in the center, but not like it's raw. You see a little bit of that char on the edges that everyone loves (not burnt). There were enough toppings to go around. The ladies at the table ate 2-3 slices each and the men had 4-5 slices (in case that helps you decide how much to order). We didn't get any of their desserts, but I feel it's worth noting that had a dessert counter where everything looked amazing. The tiramisu caught my eye, so I'll have to go back and try that sometime!
Great place. Loved the pizza and cannoli's. Delicious! Fast and friendly service. Fun atmosphere. We'll definitely be back. The coconut Gelato is amazing. Highly recommend.
I was in the area for an appointment and found this cute pizza spot. My pizza (Bianca) was delicious! They have a season bar with red pepper flakes, olive oil, balsamic, oregano, Parmesan and a few more things. I got the lunch special for $12.76 after taxes. It comes with a 10inch pizza of your choice and a 20oz bottled beverage. I could only eat two of my 6 slices! If I’m in the area again, i will definitely come again!!
I love this place!! The pizza is amazing the salads are fantastic and the location is super unique! The old mill is gorgeous.
