This was my first time visiting Burke St pizza and it reminded me exactly like getting a slice from New York! which is really hard to find in Nc so I’m glad to have found a place that is walking distance. it has became my new go to place! and I hope to try all the different varieties of pizzas they offer here! definitely give it a try if you’re looking for a pizza place that replicates a slice of NY pizza!
As fine a slice of New York style pepperoni pizza as you'll get in town, and for many towns around. Sold by the slice, makes a perfect quick lunch for downtown workers or visitors. Also like that I could self-serve a Cheerwine - Mountain Dew suicide fountain drink. Bigger pies and other sandwiches and salad for dining in or takeout. BTW their garlic knots are a sin worth doing penance for.
We just moved to NC and decided to order from here, easy to place an order online, paid $40 for a large pizza and wings. We got a call from a gentle that said he was in our complex, my husband gave him directions to what building we were in. When he went downstairs he received the pizza, gave him a tip and the man said "for next time, we do not deliver to "this complex" so next time we won't deliver here. When we ordered online, it accepted the address, if you did not deliver to this complex you could of called, refunded our money and we would of went elsewhere. We live 2miles from the pizza place, so it was not out of the way. That was rude and we felt discriminated.

I have been ordering slices from Burke Street Pizza since 2008. It’s my go to for slices! Hugo has been around for a while and it’s always good to see his familiar face. If you want good quality pizza at a great price this is your spot!
