Great place for lunch or dinner. Some dishes were standouts but some were very average. The standouts were the massaman curry and the red curry. The average dishes were the ginger sauce and the pineapple fried rice. Would have liked more pineapple and maybe a little less turmeric in the pineapple fried rice. Definitely a great spot for Thai food and next time I will be trying the whole fish, it looked awesome.

First and foremost, this restaurant can make Thai dishes including curries without fish sauce and oyster sauce so that they're truly vegetarian.
A lot of people are complaining about the high spice levels and these reviews, but I did not find them any different from most other Thai restaurants. The mild was mild and the medium was reasonably medium. That being said, I was not a fan of the Thai basil sauce with their Bangkok 54 sauce. For whatever reason, I couldn't really taste the basil component of it.
The crispy tofu was very good and so were the fresh spring rolls. I would say even the green curry that we ordered was extremely flavorful, though it turned out to be a bit sweet; maybe that was because we asked for it to be mild? So be wary of it. I would also say that the Thai iced tea was a bit too mild in flavor for my taste.
There is a reasonable amount of outdoor seating here and the people that work here are accommodating.

I have been tasting Thai food around US for 10 years and Bangkok 54 defintely is the topest among all of them. The curriest and tastes are super authentic and you must try it if you are a Thai food lover around the triangle area. Also I posted the most recent menu for your references.
