I've never written a poor review but felt that it is/was important to share this information with potential customers who may be in need of an urgent need for roofing repair. I wouldn't have even written this if they would have had the courtesy to return an email, text or voicemail. Sorry A-1. It was unacceptable.... Several times over the last 5 weeks, the owner mentioned that a team would be coming to repair my roof. Each time, no one showed up and no one communicated there was a change in plans and to set a new time. (3 emails, 2 1x1 phone calls with the owner and then several voicemail follow-ups) I couldn't count on this company to complete a very small job and several times gave them the benefit of the doubt since it was such a small job.
What can I say about this company?! Nothing but great great great!!! The company owner Daniel is so pleasant, has been doing roofing seen he was 12yrs( that's experience)! He gave us a quote for replacing our roof which was very reasonable once they got here and found more work then we thought he remained with the original quoted price. Brittany his daughter that handles the office also very pleasant went above and beyond to help getting the service date in just before we were expecting bad weather. The crew that came out were on time and completed within the time frame Brittany told me. I looked out to find the crew working well together and seem to real enjoy their jobs(that says a lot about who you are working for) I recommend A-1 Roofing pricing is good, the work(roof) is beautiful, they are professional and friendly!! I am more then pleased with my roof and can not wait to work with A-1 Roofing again in future projects! Thank you Dan, Brittany and the A-1 Roofing team 5 stars all day
A-1 Roofing removed the old roof (both layers), made sure all the roof penetrations were sealed (vent pipes, etc.) and put on a beautiful new roof. I appreciate their speed and professionalism. They cleaned everything up afterward. This is the second roof we have used A-1 for (two different houses) and we will use them again if we ever need a new roof.
The crew at A1 Roofing made a quick repair on my roof which was from a tree branch that punctured a hole in my roof shingles. The small leak was from a storm that passed thru the area recently and I had several tree branches on the roof. A1 was quick to respond, on time and priced right. Very happy and would recommend them to anyone looking for a roof repair contractor or roofing company in the Durham area. Thanks A1!
Very friendly and courteous staff. Thorough roof cleaning, quick and efficient. Also, cleaned away all debris from roof and around the house. 😊
