My husband hired this attorney, this is what happened: "When I spoke to this attorney, I was explained about the process that would follow after my situation on how to resolve it. I was convinced by him that this attorney was knowledgeable on handling my violation, He went to court and chose to not reduce my charge, but instead made the wrong decision to just have the least important charge dismissed for him to handled it the simplest way, I consulted with another attorney after I realized that I was basically scammed and on top of that he managed to get away charging me almos $1,000 in 2 payments to supposedly allow me to keep my driver's license. I now have lost my license and have to spend another $1,700 to have another attorney fight to get my license back. I would just be careful when hiring any attorney because unfortunately all of them have a license, but not all are knowledgeable about what they are doing and not all are ethical to tell you the best answer or give you the best solution for your case in court, be mindful about my experience." not all cases are the same, unfortunately, my husband's was handled the wrong way after we had it extracted and reviewed by a different attorney.
Tim and his secretary was very nice and very friendly and efficient when handling my case, Tim answered all my questions and explained with full details how to get my case handled and resolved. I only found out after I had another attorney review my case and I now regret so much trusting Mr. Nugent.
RECONSIDER !!! I had fired him and found another lawyer about a month and a half before my court date that I had hired him for. His paralegal kept telling me they didn’t know how to withdraw, which is alarming seeing as you are lawyers…. He then told me I wasn’t allowed any percentage of my refund, which is illegal, because the case had not been concluded yet. He lied to me and said he continued the case four times but my lawyers went into those cases where there’s proof of him only continuing one case twice and not touching another.. but he still wouldn’t give me a refund. It’s been a month and a half since I fired him and told them they need to sign the withdrawal for my lawyers. And it’s been two weeks since my lawyers have contacted him and still to this date, which is the date of my court date he has not signed the withdrawal. Very unprofessional and he has caused me a lot of problems this past month and a half…. Would not recommend in the slightest. And I have and will continue to be contacting the to complain, and to request a refund🩷 in all honesty if he would’ve just signed my case over within the first week of me, telling him he’s fired we would’ve had no problems. Oh, and definitely I needed my money back. ;)
I can highly recommend Mr. Nugent. He was very effective and fixed everything for me without any hassle. His assistant who I spoke to over the phone was very nice and very clear. If you have a traffic legal issue then I would use Mr. Nugent.
I am very happy with my choice to ask Timothy S. Nugent to take care of my speeding ticket. This was my first ticket ever, and I was very nervous about the consequences the ticket would have on my insurance, but the lady I spoke to on the phone (assistant or receptionist) assured me that Timothy could get it all taken care of and he did! He appeared in court for me, so it was no inconvenience to me. Just a minor court fee due. No points or insurance increase. Their price for the lawyer’s services are very reasonable. All information was communicated on phone and email. Also, everything happened in a timely manner. I didn’t have to wait long for the disposition letter after the court appearance. I recommend this law office and Lawyer!
