Dentist was generally fine. My kids and wife went there for 8 years (since 2016). However, we recently received a bill for just under $500 for ‘balance billing’ as we recently became out of network for our insurance. Now, that’s all well and good considering we were out of network, but I looked at the billing and they still were paid well for the services from insurance. So, I called and asked them to take into consideration we were patients for nearly a decade. Their response was just short of ‘go pound sand’. Pay or go to collections. Long story short, they were great. Now they’re just a bunch of greedy toothpricks. So, they expect $350 for a regular exam. Be warned. They will drill you with fees. This is an example in business of what NOT to do to long term clients.
Very nice staff and it's easy to schedule appointments. I have a chaotic schedule so I'm glad I didn't have to wait long too be seen. I hadn't been to a dentist in several years and was terrified, but they immediately made me feel comfortable. Doctor Taylor gave me clear information and answered my questions. The xray specialist and hygienist were also kind and informative. I received excellent care.
The lack of customer service at this establishment is truly disappointing. The receptionist, an older black female at the front desk, displayed a complete lack of professionalism. When I arrived, she simply stared at me without offering a greeting. After I mentioned my appointment, her only response was a terse ‘okay.’ I’ve been a patient for years, even before the transition to Winston Smiles, but this will be my last visit.
Dr. Taylor kicked my teen out from her practice & I strongly believe it is because one specific reason that shouldn't have happened. There would be no other reason that I can see. If that was an issue for you, let another dentist in the building take over care. Were we perfect patients? No, but I've had a lot of health issues going on. You reach out, not kick out, if that was the case. Yet, I didn't get a letter for my other two children who were going there, and i brought them all around the same time, so that's what led me to believe our less-than-perfect attendance wasn't the issue. Either way, that's not how you treat patients that are going through hardships, including a family death. He did nothing to deserve to be kicked out. We had been patients there for several years. I hope Dr. Taylor has the life she deserves. But just know, if your kid is different...No need to reply because we don't need your bs reasons. There's enough bullies out there without it leaking into medical and dental care. Good riddance.
The dentist is fine, no issues with Dr. Albertson. But the support staff is so unprofessional, rude, & don’t know how to do their jobs. Candy at the desk has left multiple harassing messages about their insurance filing mistakes previously, Jennifer the office manager is very curt, & today I had the misfortune of dealing with Chelsea who just hangs up the phone on you cause she doesn’t know how to end a call like an adult. They need to reevaluate the people that represent their practice because the dentist does a great job, but you’d never be able to tell dealing with these people in the office.
