My husband had a dental emergency on the weekend and Dr. Wheeler responded to our call immediately. He is thoughtful, kind, and very attentive to his patients. The office staff is friendly and very helpful. I am so glad we found this dental office when we moved to Winston-Salem!
I did my DA Observation at this dental practice , Hannah the DA was very helpful , friendly and professional and very informative. Hannah cared for all her patients who came in & she did a fantastic job assisting Dr.wheeler with his patients. Durning my observation I also observed Dr.wheeler with his patients he is very professional and friendly he is very careful with his patients. Tammy the assistant manager is also professional and so kind , Also the ladies in the front the representatives were also very friendly. The entire staff is so friendly , I can say this is a great dental practice to attend.
I have been with Dr Wheeler for several years. I have had everything from cleanings to crowns and have been very happy with him and his staff. He is courteous, kind and friendly. Recently I have been most impressed with his care of my 87 year old mother. The kindness of his staff and Dr. Wheeler has been over and above what would be expected of any doctor. This has always been the best dental experience I have had but the warmness and gentleness that he has shown my mother certainly puts his at the top of the list for dental work and bedside manner. My mother have never like dentist and it has always been difficult to get her to go, no more. She always talks about "what a nice young man he is" and how kind he is to her.
At first this place was okay with me until someone dropped the ball and management refused to admit their error regarding account information. A previous receptionist (no longer there now) failed to save my contact information when updating my insurance. It wasn’t until I received an email today about upping my appointment date that I was informed of an outstanding balance. Mind you, I responded to email, so even if the lady did fail to update my information, they were able to reach me by email. Management lied and said they emailed me- but I have every email sent back to 2017! Then management (Tammy) goes to say that they notification of them sending me text messages and I READ them. But funny how I called today and the NEW receptionist confirmed NO NUMBER on file. Since I was never given proper notice and they dropped the ball with saving mt information after I CALLED THEM! I asked if I could pay something day of the visit. Instantly it was the UNFORTUNATELY NOT. My thing is the principles, the morals…. I’ve always paid my balance at every visit.. account has always been in good standing. You would think they would be willing to take a payment. It wasn’t like i was running.. i did my part. To know i served this country for people that can’t admit their wrongs, didn’t even apologize, nor offer a solution, knowing the pandemic that we’re in, it’s sad. After seeing a different side of their office They deserve 1 star.
Friendly, helpful, and wonderful! I'm a former dental asst. and liked everything they did until on one recall when the dentist, without using his explorer, stated I needed a filling. I left and went to a new dentist, who checked and stated there were no caries on that tooth. 2 years later, that tooth is still caries free.
