Dealing with Vicking was an experience. The cost was in my ball park. Chris was great. We had some hiccups with the flooding from a hurricane. Best Choice Metal Structure was my contractor. Tony Tony and Smiley aka Pedro. They were great. They worked morning till dark. Had to ask them to stop one night cause I couldn't see them in the dark. Great building and Crew. This is a third party company that takes orders for the manufacturer of the buildings. The installers didn't come out as promised and as in the contract there is a non-refundable deposit that I paid in the amount of $217.80. I can understand if they kept the deposit if something on my end went wrong but that wasn't the case. I paid somebody to house sit so the installers could have access to what they needed but they didn't do their part. I completely understand things come up but I was never notified of the company not being able to make their appointment. Viking Steel Structures and Eagle Carports lack professionalism and customer support. UPDATE: Communication, not excuses is the solution. Everybody is in traffic, everybody is on the roof, etc. Whatever. I am out over $200 but the good thing is that my Uncle was planning on using Viking and Eagle for his building and so was my friend. That is my carport plus 2 more that you lost. Certainly you won't go out of business but I'll make it priority that you won't get anymore business of people that I know.
Jadon Welbourn was very quick to respond to all communications. I am 100% satisfied with the results of our transaction. These guys are the real deal when it comes to customer service, a trait you don't see much any more. I wrote the top part of this review 10 weeks ago and gave Jason 5 stars but forgot to post it. I am updating this to one star today because of the people who do the installations. Carolina Carports has done a very good job of telling the truth. We were told that it would be 4-6 weeks for installation after the site was ready. It is going on nine weeks now and we just found out that it will be the 2nd week in January maybe. That's 12 weeks if they are able to get here......I have no faith.
My building turned out exactly as planned. We needed a structure for hay storage and miscellaneous farm use. Vikings online building design tool made that an easy process for me. Seth was great to deal with throughout the entire process and made it stress free! Installation crew was also very professional and hard working. If you are looking for great customer service and quality then this is the company for you.
I am very pleased with the way my shop turned out I had 3 guys come and build it. I bought them lunch and kept them hydrated they worked from 7am-6pm never stopped but for lunch they were very precise with there work and I appreciate that. They also cleaned up there mess and put it in a pile for me to haul off. I wish I could remember the guys names but they all 3 had nicknames that I wrote on the review sheet and they did the job on 8/28/24. Thanks so much and Chris Hutchison the best customer support from viking structures. I would add photos but it is dark outside. Just trust me they did a great job.
