On another strictly local-owned based adventure day, my sister and I stopped by here because first, catchy name, and second, the food options!!! She had a poke bowl that was delicious. I got the dangerous dog (because I love hot dogs, got that dawg in me fam). Dangerous dog was delicious!! Perfect crunch and crisp from the bacon wrap. Nice little amount of spice from jalopeno pimento cheeeeese. We also got the loaded fries with pork, kimchi, and wasabi. So many textures and flavors! Everything was good
Our first time there was a such a good experience. The lady helped us choose things. She even let us try sauces. She was very helpful. I love the patio outside is awesome.
I'd never even heard of this place. I happened to come across it on DoorDash and decided to check it out in person. Pictured on the right is the Thai Bowl with Chicken minus the cilantro and wonton crisps. I'm not a huge fan of spicy stuff, but opting for half greens and half rice made the heat bearable for me. And on the left is the Poke Okay Combo Bowl. If you've never tried a Poke Bowl 🥣 give this place a shot. If you like spicy peanut sauce, you can't go wrong with the Thai Bowl. ETA: After reviewing, I read other reviews and the restaurants about section. I can't believe they've been around for 4 years and I've never come across it in all of my google searches. I'm not sure who their target audience is, but, mom in her mid 30's here 🙋🏽♀️ relying on fb and Instagram to find out what's going on around me. I'm sad I've been left out of the loop until DoorDash shared them with me while searching for "keto options". They were completely dead when we went in on Monday evening so I hope they get to stick around. Too many good restaurants are closing!
Stopped here for a small experience of Hawaiian cuisine. The food was really good. I ordered the Island Bowl w/Shrimp ($13), Pork Belly Bacon Cheese Fries ($14) and 8 piece Wings with Sweet & Spicy Gouchujang sauce ($14). Everything was delicious. The service was good and the cashier was patient and helpful. The atmosphere was quiet and relaxing. The prices could be a little lower or the portions could match the prices. Six medium sized shrimp for $13 is a little over $2 per shrimp. The 8 Wings is $1.75 per wing...follow me? The items I tried cost $46. Overall I enjoyed the experience so I will visit again.
I used to work next door at The Remedy and “That Place” became a regular go to for lunch. Great food with a lot of options (including tofu for the plant people), friendly staff (shout out to Stephanie and Audi(?), and nice outdoor seating.
