I have an older roof that is still in pretty good shape, except for a few leaks. The leaks were causing ceiling damage in the kitchen. I got a few estimates for the repairs. One contractor said "the repair would cost about the same as a new roof". Another contractor gave me a good price for the repairs. Scro's came and gave me a higher price, but they found more problems and had better solutions.
Scro's finished the repairs in a day and sent me photos of the work. The photos showed the before state, the damage, the repairs that were made, and the final repairs. I've attached the photos.
I liked that Scro's was sensitive to the plywood and other materials COVID prices. The price of a new roof would have been 6X more than the repair costs. With a repaired roof, I get a couple of years to wait until the wood prices get back to normal and I can pay a reasonable price for a new roof.
I'm very satisfied with the results and would recommend Scro's for repairs or roof replacement.

Scro’s Roofing was a pleasure to do business with, from the initial phone call the whole process was flawless! Danny the owner is extremely responsive and will work as the advocate for his customers. The integrity of Scro’s is is second to none! We had multiple quotes from different companies and none were as knowledgeable and professional as Danny. Excellent work from a company who values craftsmanship! Scros roofing was a great experience for us! Our roof looks amazing. We have had so many neighbors stop by and tell us they are so impressed with the quality of our roof. We knew we wanted a local company to replace our roof after hail damage. They handled the entire insurance process with us. We got a new roof for just the cost of our deductible!!!
Scros kept in close contact with us though the whole process. Danny is an honest down to earth contractor who is easy to work with. April and Courtney who work in the office even gave us addresses to homes they had done to help us choose the right color shingles that was very helpful!! We choose Barkwood for our shingle color. The crew that worked on our home was so sweet. Crew was on time, hard working, CLEAN and thorough. What I really like about Scros is that they hand nail each shingle into place they do not use nail guns. It does take 2-3 days to do your roof but the job is done RIGHT!! Our yard was spotless when they were done. What I was most impressed with was when watching the roofing crew work (even when they didnt know I was watching or talking pictures for my husband who was at work) was the quality and care they put into placing and hand nailing each shingle into place was outstanding!! Bottom line is you can trust Scros to be honest and put a beautiful roof on your home. Peace of mind is everything when getting home repairs done. Call them you will be happy you did!!! What a great experience: so unlike the fly-by-night contractors (aka roof hunters) that swoop in after a storm and don't do the job the right way and may not even be licensed!
Danny McLaughlin (Scro’s roofing, a local business right here in Clayton) and his team provided professional, fast, and superior-looking results. Hassle-free estimates, went over and beyond working with our insurance adjuster to ensure all details were covered and no surprises. The work was done on time, they protected my landscaping and they did an amazing job with clean up. We cannot say enough about their customer service as well: Danny answered 100s of questions, addressed all our concerns, and gave us good and helpful advice. They went above our expectations and that is so refreshing in the times we live in!
This might sound unbelievable but believe us it was. We cannot be happier with the turnout and the experience.

Great customer service! Our roof shingles were replaced in 2018 (photo proof below during installation). Looks great and still does. Great care was done to cleanup afterwards and to protect foundation plantings.
