Helped me with a glitch I had with a judgement on the closing of my house Great lawyer.
Wes Schollander is a professional, friendly and helpful lawyer who goes out of his way to help others. I saw him to discuss a very uncomfortable topic and he was able to set my mind at ease and he actually made me feel better about my situation as I had been beating myself up about it. When you fill out paperwork they are prompt to provide feedback and questions. They are helpful and flexible about scheduling. As I said, this legal issue was a very big source of anxiety for me. It took me a lot to get everything together and to get to my appointments on time. In the beginning, I did arrive late because of all the fear and anxiety I had, but every time I communicated with them, they were understanding, helpful and gave me a chance. Before you hire them, you meet for a consultation and provide estimates of your financial situation. They give you paperwork to do this when you arrive so that the lawyer can review the facts of your situation ahead of time and give you his best advice. After all, you’re consulting with him to get his advice and expertise so it’s important to take the time to fill out this information as best as you can. For some people, it takes longer to fill out their forms than others. They will only call you in after you’ve completed your intake forms. It is just like being at the doctor’s office and filling out all their forms before you can see the doctor. There was a time that I was late and arrived after another couple, however I completed my forms before them so the lawyer called me in first. They were still filling out their forms when I was called in. I note this because I saw they left a one star review on that day because they were upset they had gotten there before me but I was allowed to see the lawyer first. That day was actually my birthday so I remember (Jan 25th, 2019). On that day, I left the office after my appointment and I cried, not because of sadness, but because of relief. This process has been terribly stressful for me and I can’t express the burden it had put on me. But seeing this lawyer was the best decision I ever made in regards to this situation. Mr. Schollander took the weight off of me and gave me a helping hand when I felt like I had no other options. He knows this business and he has the empathy and ability to relate to you to make sure you feel seen, heard and understood. He is a lawyer you can trust because he truly cares. Again, the people who work in his office are fast, courteous, accurate and friendly. This is their business and they are good at what they do. They want to help you file your paperwork correctly and get the best outcome you are legally allowed. If you are struggling financially, I highly recommend them.
Sometimes life just happens, even when you have tried to be responsible, Thanks to The Schollander Office and staff, that makes you feel like you can get through this, even when you can't see the light at the end of the tunnel, I'm greatful I'm starting to see some light, and breathe again.
Felt like I was in an episode of Better Call Saul. MASSIVELY unprofessional. We arrived for our 3:00 appointment at about 2:50 and had a mountain of paperwork to fill out in the lobby that looked like it was straight out of the 1970's. About 10 minutes after we arrived a young lady came in. Her appointment was at 2:30 and she acknowledged to the receptionist that she was 30 minutes late and did not have a problem rescheduling. Instead she was taken ahead of us and at 3:53 we finally walked out. The office is set up like a cattle call and I had no confidence that we would receive individualized advice or consideration. There is nothing about this office that I would recommend to anyone. If I could rate it 0 stars I would. UPDATE: So shortly after we walked out of this individual's office I get a voicemail. I'll allow 1/32nd of a star for his attempt at an apology...but get our name right at least. Not only does our name appear on the appointment that was scheduled but it was also on the paperwork we had to fill out. Come on, really?
