Not a company for novice/new homeowners. Do plenty of research, get competitive quotes, and make sure you know exactly what you need before contacting them. There is an underlying lack of patience that I experienced with Susan the office manager. I didn't want to have buyer's remorse so I asked a couple of key questions 5 days before installation (not great timing on my part but knowledge is better than ignorance). I asked if they could give me details on the differences between their quote and another competitor. I also asked if it would be an issue to change shingle color to a hue of grey vs. black due to energy saving concerns. They canceled my job without speaking to me and within 6 hrs of receiving the questions from me (emails sent at 4am and job canceled at 10am). Susan then scolded me over the phone and proceeded to tell me that I'm not the type of customer they want. Looking back, I'm glad that I asked the questions because I would rather know the true character of anyone that is doing work on my home. Every dollar is hard-earned and personally, I would rather work with a company that appreciates their customers. Even the annoying ones!
Great Crew! Installing a new roof is a big deal so I was a bit nervous but when Rain-Go Roofing Contractor showed up on time I was relieved. They did a great job and cleaned up
Rain-Go is an excellent company to work with. Upfront with everything from start to finish. I looked at several roofing companies in Raleigh before choosing Rain-Go and glad I did. Like someone else said the best place to research what to ask about is youtube. Tim Howell the owner has made many videos on what they do to guarantee their work is quality. Very happy!
Tim and his team are awesome. They replaced our roof and gutters and did an absolutely beautiful job. They were recommended by a friend who has done business with them for over 10 years, which, in this day and age, speaks volumes. We were so pleased with the quality of the job done, they are now replacing the siding and gutters at our son’s home. Simply the best!
Rain-Go put new gutters/downspouts on a screened in porch I completed. When the gutters and leaf guards were installed there was some concern as to the pitch of the roof and the volume of water that the gutters could be able to handle. The crew created diverters to direct the flow more evenly as it reached the gutters. 8 months later I called to let them know that the diverters were trapping debris causing to leaf guard to clog up and lessen the effectiveness of the gutters. Susan had a crew out within a few days to address the problem and make corrections that are proving to be effective. I remain impressed with this company, their staff and the way they have stood behind their work without giving it a second thought. I will definitely use them for additional work and have recommended Rain-Go to several friends.
