This is the most professional, skilled tree removal team I have ever worked with! Their work is done so efficiently, thoroughly and safely. Their work never interrupted the flow of my business. I have already recommended them to friends and colleagues. If the need ever arises for me again, this is the team I will call.
One of the best in NC. What a blessing this company was to put me at ease for my mother and father. Professional crew. Punch items were done happily. Great workmanship . Highly recommended.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY I don’t know how they have scrubbed their google reviews but please check Yelp! And you will see many people with similar stories. On 8/19/24 I hired another company to perform some work in my backyard. They subbed the tree work out to Outdoor Exposure and work was to begin on 8/28. On 8/27 I called Scott to confirm they were starting the next day, he said they would be there at 8 AM. No one showed or called so I contacted the landscaping company. At about 4:00 in the afternoon a crew did show up and worked for a few hours. On 8/31 he sent me a schedule via text indicating that he would be finished with the job on Thursday 9/5. On Friday 9/6 he sent a revised schedule indicating work would be finished 9/11. On 9/12 I contacted the landscaping company again and they informed me that they had removed themself from the job and I was to work directly with Scott, which I never would have agreed to. Work was finally "finished" on 9/20 and he sent me an invoice for approximately $4k over the quote which was sent to both of us in an email from the landscaping company on 8/19. His price included seed and straw, which was not a part of the original estimate and in no way should account for $4k, I also don't know what seed he put out but it most certainly was not fescue like the rest of my yard. I looked closely at his invoice and found many bogus charges (i.e. a porta-john rental fee when no porta-john was delivered, 2 tandem loads of dirt for grading (he used 94 bags of soil from Lowe's which was not even 1/4 of what was required, and equipment charges for machinery that was not used.) Our contract also specified that the roots would be excavated since we are planning to build a garage on that spot, they were not and there is a very good chance we will have to pay for that when we go to build the garage. Scott once again assured me that he was “a man of my word” and would personally make sure that the job was finished properly. I put flags out to identify where he missed stumps and he did send one of his guys back to grind some of the stumps that he left protruding but did not do a satisfactory job. After weeks of waiting for them to fix their work I emailed Scott on 10/11 and informed him that he had been provided ample time to fix his work and he was no longer permitted on my property and I would be pursuing this through the legal system. On 10/29 he emailed me and said that his wife had put a check in the mail, which was never received. I filed in small claims court and he was served papers, but chose not to show for our hearing on 11/25. Based on the overwhelming amount of evidence I have in writing where he admitted that he deviated from the scope of work the magistrate actually awarded me a larger judgement than I had been seeking. I still have not been paid and will be placing liens on his property this week. I was lied to repeatedly, and what is amazing is he truly seems to believe his own lies. In my experience, honest people don’t have to tell you they are honest, they let their actions speak for themselves. Do not use this company.
We were contracted to replace a glass for Scott at Outdoor Exposure in June and he has yet to pay his Invoice. We have left numerous calls and messages with no returns. Stuck us for almost $650.00! BEWARE of doing business with someone who doesn't pay their Contractors! Edit- Took down this review after Scott called on 12/9/2024 infuriated that we placed a Negative Review. Asked that we take it down and he would mail a check that day. Stated his Customer should have paid it but they didn't but he was a "Man of his Word" and would pay the Invoice. Due to no Payment, I spoke to his Customer and they in fact were NOT liable. Scotts company was doing Tree work and broke their glass. Reposting this Review because as I see it, it looks to be an Accurate Review, a month later a no Payment! Edit- Another month has passed with no response and no payment!
Outdoor Exposure is the real deal. Exceptional company with the best customer service out there. Scott has exceptional communication. Will always recommend them.
