I can’t recommend John enough. If you’re on the fence, just hire him. I had a reckless driving and speeding citation, and he got me the BEST deal I think I could have asked for. He and Jessica, who also works in the office, were incredibly communicative, set reasonable expectations, gave clear instructions about what was required from me when it came to my court date, and went ABOVE AND BEYOND. I reached out on short notice (don’t do that though) after having issues with a PREVIOUS lawyer unaffiliated with Mr. Fitzgerald, and he saved the day. I’m not exaggerating. I am so grateful to him and his team. Hopefully I never need his services again, but if I ever run into a legal snag again, he will be my first call. He’s genuinely an amazing lawyer.
Mr. Fitzgerald is an excellent attorney who cares about his clients and getting the best possible outcome for them. I received multiple tickets, and due to Covid and other delays by the prosecution my case took two years to be heard. Mr. Fitzgerald kept in regular contact throughout the intervening two years and never forgot about me or my case. He did a stellar job in court and all charges against me were dropped . I would recommend him to anyone who needs an attorney and ask him to represent me again if I ever need an attorney.
With less then 24 hours of notice, Mr. Fitzgerald was able to appear at my hearing to file some immediate paperwork after conviction dismissals. Not only did he show up to court with less then 24 hours notice, he willingly walked me through every step of the sentencing/future steps when he was only paid for some basic paperwork. Most definitely takes the time to care and understand the past/current situations of his clients. Highly recommend if you need a responsive, quick-acting, and well-respected attorney in the area. Mr. Fitzgerald was an excellent attorney to have hired. We needed legal counsel a year ahead and hired a renowned Law Office in Winston-Salem to help us navigate the law and penal systems as well as the resulting sentence. When we decided to hire Mr. Fitzgerald, we had only read a few reviews but were comfortable with his expertise. What a wonderful surprise. He stayed on top of the things we needed to prepare for and was always readily available to answer any questions. We underestimated the ability this attorney has and were wonderfully surprised with his success in the court room. I will definitely recommend him to any friend and anyone considering legal counsel. Don't think that he is less effective than a big name firm, he is better than that, very efficient.
When I received a call advising one of my children had been arrested I had no idea as to what to do or how to handle things. Everyone in the office was always helpful and made sure that everything we needed to do before trial was taken care of.
